Jessica Carriere
Occupational Therapist (OT)

Hi! I’m Jess (she/her).
I am an Occupational Therapist (OT) experienced working with individuals across the lifespan, from infancy to older adults. As a mom of two, supporting children and families is especially meaningful to me and deeply informs my approach to care.

I meet families where they are in their journey, offering compassionate, practical support to both children and caregivers. I value connection and strive to create a fun and relaxed environment where children feel safe to be themselves, play freely, build confidence, and develop social, emotional, and functional skills that carry over into daily life. I am passionate about advocating for inclusion and supporting accommodation needs so every child can thrive.

My experience includes supporting neurodivergent children, as well as adolescents with brain injuries, in the areas of emotional regulation, social and life skills development, and fine motor skills. I have a strong interest in paediatric feeding and supporting feeding development, and offer lactation counselling support as I work toward completing my International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) certification.
During sessions, I welcome caregivers to take a moment for themselves- whether that’s enjoying a coffee or breathing in the salty ocean air- to rest and reset while their child is engaged in play (or stay and co-regulate with us!).

Outside of my clinical work, you can find me exploring the great outdoors with my family, or frolicking in far away destinations
