Leah Schwartz
Rehabilitation
Assistant

I'm Leah :)
I was born and raised in North Vancouver and have been working as a Rehab Assistant since June 2024. After studying Interior Design at BCIT, I graduated from Capilano University with a degree in Kinesiology. I have experience supporting children in both sports and pediatric rehabilitation settings, and I especially enjoy creating playful and supportive environments where kids feel safe to try new things, gain confidence, and develop new skills.
I believe it’s important to normalize seeking support, and that every child deserves the chance to live life to the fullest. I work alongside OT's and SLP's to help support the team's goals 1:1 with children. This can be a great option to stretch funding for families of children who have AFU funding, those who are paying out-of-pocket, or to simply enhance treatment goals that the OT and SLP are supporting. Outside of work, I love traveling, playing beach volleyball, camping with friends, and going to concerts- especially country concerts. I’m also an animal lover with a soft spot for reptiles, which kids often call my “little dinosaurs.”
