Hi, my name is Samantha (or Sam). I am an Occupational Therapist (OT) with a passion for supporting children with diverse abilities, and their families, in meeting their goals through neurodiversity-affirming, evidence-informed, and play-based approaches. I strive to create
inclusive and safe spaces that allow every child to thrive. In 2023, I earned a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Kinesiology from Capilano University and in 2025 I earned a Master of Occupational Therapy from the University of British Columbia.

Before becoming an OT, I worked as a Behavioural Interventionist for children with Autism and as an Access and Inclusion Support Worker for children’s recreational summer camps. These experiences have strengthened my aspiration to foster meaningful participation, build confidence, and celebrate each child’s unique strengths.

 

Outside of work I like to learn new things (like playing cello), ski, enjoy nature, make cards, and play video games. I am excited to continue my learning as an OT and to make a positive impact in the lives of the children and families I support.
