Joshua Lim
Occupational Therapist (OT)

Hi I’m Josh! I grew up in Burnaby and completed my Master’s degree to be an Occupational Therapist at the University of Western Ontario in 2023. I also have undergraduate background in Kinesiology. I’m happy to happy to be back in Vancouver because during my time in London, (Ontario) I missed the mountains and the ocean more than I thought I would.
I have a diverse vocational background that has led to a passionate drive to be a holistic, empathetic, and person-centred Occupational Therapist. I’ve worked with a variety of populations having roles in the last decade as a community-based OT, lifeguard on the Vancouver beaches, hydro-therapist at a rehab pool, and summer camp coordinator for a children’s centre in the DTES of Vancouver. I bring a lot of energy and fun into my practice and love supporting kids through meaningful play-based therapy. I completed additional training in sensory processing with a particular interest in working with children who are neurodiverse.

You can often find me in the backcountry searching for fresh turns on my skis, in the ocean (no matter the temperature), speed-walking to find good but overpriced coffee, and being disappointed about the Canucks not making the playoffs again this year.
